Who are we?

Hi! We are Sam and Lucy, and we read you books! We started Chilliteracy in 2021 as a way to get more classic literature to more people, in a chill, relaxed way. Now we stream on Twitch every Wednesday and Saturday, bringing nicely read fiction to your ears for free! So come on in, pull up a chair, grab a drink and enjoy the cosy vibes!

Hello, I'm Sam! I enjoy coffee, video games, a variety of musical genres (from electronic and IDM, through classical, to folk), and reward myself for finishing one book by buying three more. When I'm not doing these things, I can probably be found editing some kind of video content.

Lucy Humphris

Hi! I'm Lucy: Classical musician by profession; I do most of the editing and art here on Chilliteracy. Favourite authors include P.G. Wodehouse, Terry Pratchett, and Dickens (to name a few). Fun fact: I read THE ENTIRETY of The Count of Monte Cristo on stream. It took almost a year.
